[ASAgriFaculty] One-minute silent prayer - Mr. Nandagopaal, 2024 batch student

Namah Sivayah All,

Since 25-11-25, we have been going through a period of deep grief due to the unfortunate demise of Mr. Nandagopaal of the 2024 batch. This tragic incident occurred during the study tour at Silent Valley National Park, Attappady.

>From the moment to this incident took place, the entire Amrita community, including students,  teaching and non-teaching staff, extended their full support in carrying out all necessary procedures. Students and faculty and Staff members also gathered at his residence in Kollam to offer their condolences and provide comfort to the grieving family. Yesterday, we witnessed a remarkable expression of affection, unity, and compassion from our community.

At this moment, the most meaningful support we can offer is through our collective prayers.

I request everyone to observe a one-minute silent prayer wherever you are, in honor of Mr. Nandagopal and for the strength and peace of his family. Please stand up at 12:30 PM today and join in this silent prayer.

Let us keep him and his family in our thoughts and prayers.
